He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University. He attended the prestigious International University of Art (UIA) in Venice. He is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and an OAA-Ret (of the Ontario Association of Architects.)
